Reeded Prep Table

With oak from the farm, individually reeded, fumed with ammonia, and topped with a slab of blue limestone, this cook's table is straight from my dream kitchen. A single, generous drawer hides Moses-like among the reeds, and brass towels give it a bit of pop. The lower shelf is inspired by the so-called ‘stretcher railings’ that were made from repurposed WWII stretchers and litter the part of south London in which this piece now resides.

Can be made to any size, in whatever timber we have in the barn - with your choice of top.
